The next day the mixture is carefully filtered several times in order to remove the undesirable waxes and lipids. From there, the ethanol is removed from the oil. This is done by gently warming the extract using a rotary evaporating machine.
Since the ethanol has a different boiling point than the oil, it slowly evaporates out of the oil. This leaves behind a clean cannabis oil distillate that is safe for consumption. Not only that but it provides a very subtle and pleasant flavor to our infused chocolate edibles. You’ll never experience any of those less desirable grassy, pungent, bitter flavors that come through in some cannabis edibles.
