CBN Continued
CBGA is the starting compoud that the cannabis plant enzime uses to make CBCA, THCA, and CBDA. Remember these are the acid forms and they must be heated to get rid of those. According to Leafly, cannabinoid acids have interesting properties. They may have antibiotic and insecticidal properties. In other words, the plants produce these chemicals in order to defend themselves.
CBN was the first cannabinoid identified and isolated. This happened all the way back in 1930. CBN comes from the breakdown of THC. Because of this, older cannabis flower will often yield higher CBN content. Frequently, CBN consumption results in a sleepy dealing. More of an Indica effect. For example, our Good Night tincture is about 75% CBN. CBN was also found to help with certain types of cancers.
